I would like to know how much space and bandwidth i need for my personal site with few pictures and my personal resume and few more links and pages.Suggest me which company i need to approach for this kind of Web hosting.

I wouldnt have thought you would need more than 50 megs of space and 1GB bandwidth for a website of that size. This could cost you say $25 USD a year with a company like www.page-zone.com or if you want free hosting as per the topic title you ought to check that your ISP doesnt provide webspace as part of the package.

If not it depends what you want. It is relativley easy to find webhosts that are free (however you will have to live with lots of popups) however hosrs that provide extra features such as PHP and MySQL free are harder to come by.
